About us
The Rose-Hulman Efficient Vehicles (RHEV) team is a group of undergraduate engineering students that design, build, test, and drive ultra-energy-efficient vehicles. We work on improving vehicle aerodynamics, designing the engine and steering systems, and everything in between. We participate in Shell's annual Eco-marathon competition in April.
Together, this team has built several of the most fuel efficient single passenger vehicles in the United States. The team's current record of 1972 mpg was set in 2007 at Rockingham Speedway in Corby, England.
